Sizing questions: Vests and jackets, Sitka vs others

I'm 6'0" about 180lbs with a slim/athletic build. I recently tried on a Kelvin Lite vest in medium and it was too small but large was too big. Medium was closer to fitting properly but a bit too tight, and the large just too baggy for my liking.

What I'm really after is a Jetstream vest but they didn't have any at my local store. Can anybody compare the sizing of the two, will they be the same? Does the Jetstream fit larger or smaller?

How about the KUIU guide vest or Kryptek Vidar Scout vest, anyone know where these would fit in sizing wise?

How about for full jackets from First Lite, KUIU and Kryptek compared to Sitka? It seems like I'm between medium and large in all the Sitka stuff I was able to try on. A large jacket seems like a better fit than a large vest, but still not quite right.

I don't have anywhere close by to try most of this stuff on, and I'm in Canada so returning for sizing issues is a pain, so any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

KUIU guide vest will be slightly tighter in the body and tighter in the armpits than a size large Jetstream vest. I think the kelvin or kelvin lite fit pretty similar to the Jetstream but haven't paid close enough attention to that comparison to say for sure. I know. KUIU L guide vest is too tight in my armpits but I can wear a Jetstream nicely. The KUIU body fits my more snug as well.

In my experience, the Jetstream and Jetstream Lite are smaller in the same size as the Kelvin puffies. I wear a large in the Kelvin and an XL in the Jetstream.

Sounds like the large Jetstream may be worth a shot after all. I heard Kuiu is working on a Canadian distribution center so I'll probably hold off on any Kuiu stuff until it's up and running. Thanks guys

5'10 175 43 chest. Wear jetstream large. No room for layering, but I also don't want anything under it besides a very light shirt.
