I have heard of sizing up your boot size by a half size and then adding insoles. Has anyone done this? If so would you recommend? Thinking of sizing up a pair of crispi’s and adding thicker insoles to help with my plantar fasciitis.

I put aftermarket insoles in all my boots. Typically the Lathrop and Sons Synergy Footbeds. They are pretty thick. I have never had to upsize my boot.

Just got the Crispi Guide Non-insulated from a local dealer. I tried my normal size, but they weren't quite right so the sales guy suggested that I should try sizing up & adding some Super Feet insoles. I was a bit skeptical at first but was blown away at how much of a difference they made. I've had surgery on both feet, so I am prone to sore feet fairly quickly, but this has been a game changer for me. I highly recommend, but would definitely try them on first before buying as every boot fits differently. Good luck!

Green superfeet are not that thick..I use on all hunts for decades. No size up needed ….provided your boots fit to start. I found some euro boots run different on sizing…

I think I was in between sizes to begin with, so that just helped to fill in the gap. I don't remember which ones I got, but they have memory foam and are super comfortable,
