I'll have to look at the OTTE stuff. And yeah usually it's better to stay off the Camo topic.
You can't really compare the ASAT brand vs. First Lite. The ASAT brand ones are primarily cotton and most of us just won't risk running cotton on a backcountry adventure. There is a reason gear from Sitka, First Lite, etc. cost a few $$... I understand where you are coming from $$ wise, but wool is a totally different experience than poly cotton. Appreciate the quiet factor, but poly is not wool...www.firstlite.com The ASAT Camo Brand Essential pants are better and more durable than the First Lite Kanab. The ASAT Brand Vest is Better than First Lites Springer. The Lightweight Bowhunter Jacket from ASAT Brand is quieter than any of the First Lite jackets. www.asatcamo.com and download the Catalog to view items.
As far as LIGHT WEIGHT, BREATHABLE and WATERPROOF
The OTTE gear is the best on the market. Same material as Westcomb, but a bit more durable/user friendly for hunting. The pants are 13oz, but the jacket is a bit heavier.
Staying out of the camo argument.
