I am 6'2 and fit perfect when I was 200-225.
U won't wade through a creek and stay dry but they'll keep you dry in a rain or snow shower or if y kneel or sit in wet or damp grass/soil.
Perfect with layers down to 35-40 degrees up to 60 or so sitting in a tree stand.
Its "windproof" and designed for long quiet sits in tree stands

My son's your size and they fit him well. They have a good bit of adjustability to them. Allows for layering too.
