Sitka sizing

As others have said you’ll want to try it on. I’m 5’ 8” 215 and have xl tops and L pants. The xl pants I swam in, and the L are a little tight.

Sorry if this has been covered already im new to the forum. Looking at purchasing some sitka gear for early and late season whitetail. I am 6'4 225 lbs and located in virginia. Based off of their listed size recommendations i am a mix of Large, Large Tall, and X Large Anyone out there similar in size that can give some insight. I dont want to buy and have to return to swap things.

Thanks!

I’m almost your exact size (6’4”, 215-220 here), and I need XL tall in the tops and 35 tall in the pants. Unfortunately too many of their regular XLs are too short in the sleeves and torso for me (here’s looking at you Stratus and Dakota Hoody).

6', 205. They don't make anything in a large that would remotely fit me.

There's several of their jackets that would swallow you in a sz LG. WS Down Hoody, Kelvin jacket, etc. I'm 6'3" 220 and there's several of their pieces in a large that fit bigger than a XL in their other pieces. You just have to look at their sizing guide and pay attention to whether it's performance fit, standard fit, or Expedition fit. Anything that's Expedition fit you can size down, standard fit you can size down in a lot of pieces, performance fit you can't.

The fit of Sitka is different than most hunting clothes I own. I'm looking at getting some new pieces but the stores near me (Cabelas, Scheels) carry hardly anything to try on! I'm 6' - 215 slightly wider shoulders than average and I need an XL in their jackets. My fanatic jacket I purchased in 2XL for layering underneath...
You bought a 2XL Fanatic? Holy smokes. How many layers you plan on adding? I swim in a 2XL in the Fanatic series and I'm 6'3" 220. I don't need many layers under that jacket, it's an oven.

Definitely need to try each piece. I have a few different sizes as I layered. Pain is the a## but that is how they run the line. It's worth it. I think the gear is good quality.

Unlike FL which uses the same size t/o the layering system.

I had a store near me so it made it much easier.

Anybody tried the new stratus jacket?? Is sizing the same as the old stratus? I am right there at the XLT and XXL size.
I tried on a 2x of the new one at Cabelas just the other day, I'm 6'5 and 260 and it was about perfect for an outer layer, in the base layers like hoody I usually go XLT but the fit is snug. I also tried on an XL to see if I should order an xlt and it was too tight across the shoulders/back to do much with layers under it, I only had a t-shirt on.
