I live in BC on Vancouver Island. It can rain pretty hard here. have been using the Stone Glacier pack cover from spring black bear season, on sheep and elk hunts and most recently for blacktail and fall bear.
I picked up the Sitka Subalpine “one size fits all?” pack cover for a good deal on Camofire last week. I went to put in on my SG Skytalus 6900 yesterday and it seemed too small for my pack and the pack was only about 25% expanded. The cover also had 4 straps with webbing hooks to locate it on the pack. I’ve never seen this on a pack cover (I have several) nor do I see the need. I haven’t been able to find much info on the net, does anyone have a success story using the Sitka pack cover on a larger stone glacier pack?
