Sitka or Kuiu Luggage?

We need a couple more pieces of luggage, and I was looking at the Sitka and Kuiu offerings. I really hate storing luggage (like coolers), and I figured I might use those more than just when flying.

Have any of you used them?

I have both the big Sitka roller and the small rambler and both are outstanding. That big one is BIG though and may cost you extra when flying for oversized luggage but it is great on road trips and helps to have less bags. When I can get a good discount I am going to buy a KUIU 90-100 liter roller.

I’ve got the Sitka rambler and love it. Wheels are robust, handle is nice, love the pouch on top for passport etc. Big enough but still fits in overhead compartment just fine.

I have the big Sitka roller and the smaller one. They have become my 'go to' luggage. Took the big one to Alaska last year and they did not charge for oversized. Only comment is the zippers are really stiff, but if you put some chapstick on them they work easier. Both have held up well.

Same. I fly three times a month usually and it is great. Can be a little tippy if you load it wrong though.
I probably have someone compliment that bag at least once a trip.

Looked at the stika nomad roller just today. Those weather proof zippers had me worried they wouldn't withstand long term usage.

I have the large and medium drifter duffels and love them. Seems like every outdoor gear company offers something identical. My daughter had Osprey duffels and they are great too.

The size of the big Sitka roller duffle did have me worried about airlines. Do any of you fly Delta with it?
I’ve flown international on delta once with my large Sitka roller bag. It was considered oversized and the bag took a decent beating by the handlers during the trip. Nothing catastrophic but the soft shell was scratched and banged up enough for me to not fly with it again. I’ll stick to normal sized luggage with hard shells and save the Sitka bag for driving trips. The bag is great but flying isn’t the best with such a large bag.
