Hey, I'm searching for a pant that has good mobility, but blocks wind. This is for Colorado first and second season rifle. I often hunt above treeline. I've been using a pair of Rab mountaineering pants, but would like something in camo. I've tried Kuiu Attacks but they don't block much wind at all. Looking at Sitka Mtn pants. Any other suggestions? Thanks.

They don't have a specific wind block membrane. That said the wind doesn't just blow through them either. They do a fair or good job in that department, and they do breathe ok for the weight.

They aren’t marketed as wind proof but I have never had it rip through them either. On par with most standard high end hunting pants

How about the Kuiu Axis pants? I have some on order, did my research for a late season pant and gets better reviews than Timberlines. I obviously haven’t used them yet but something to consider.

I've bought Mountain Pants two different times now because everyone claims how great they are, but they just don't perform for me. Kuiu Guide are the best I have used for what you describe, and Axis should be better I just haven't personally used them, my friend I hunt with replaced a pair of worn out Guides with Axis and is very happy with improved performance especially in the wind.

I looked at the Axis. The grid fleece backing concerns me a little as I cover quite a lot of miles and they might be on the hot side for that. They do look awesome though. Will read some reviews on them. Thanks guys!

They do block the wind but yes they are too hot for hiking unless its sub freezing temps. I wear mine as snowmobile pants!
