Sitka Merino vs Core Lightweight

Just curious if anyone has a preference between the Merino Core Lightweight Half-Zip vs the Core Lightweighty Hoody. Basically asking merino vs synthetic? Does the odor control in the synthetic work or stick with the merino.

I'd go synthetic. I had the lightweight wool. I hiked in with it on and it was soaked for an entire day after. But when I've gotten the Sitka synthetics sweat soaked, or wet they dry quicker.

Scent wise, I prefer merino. I have both the Lightweight hoodie and the lightweight merino base. When I am hunting an animal like a deer of elk were scent is of worry. I’ll use the merino everyday of the week. I do love the lightweight hoodie though it sounds so dumb but that hood And the built in face mask are the bee knees
