Have any of you guys done a comparison between these two? I like them both but haven't done a side by side.

Don’t own them both but I have an atom LT and have tried on the kelvin lite multiple times and I feel the Kelvin Lite is a little warmer/thicker insulation

That's what it looks like when I read the specs, the Atom LT has 60g/ms vs the Kelvin Lite at 80g/ms. I just couldn't tell if one was really warmer than the other without doing the side by side. Thanks for the reply.

The atom is a really loud jacket. Nice jacket but not a hunting jacket for what I do.

The newer kelvin light is actually pretty quiet.

Not really comparable are they? The kelvin is a puffy the Atom is an active insulation piece.

Exactly. The kelvin lite is a warmer albeit less breathable primaloft. The arcteryx atom lt uses a less warm but highly breathable insulation for active wear. Different purposes altogether.

I don't have the Atom, The Kevlin lite been solid for me when I need an in between puffy.

I had the atom lt and have a kelvin lt. And I’d agree that it’s a thinner piece. Atom was also cut very snug, and very breathable.

And I standby by what I said that I think the atom was too loud. And the reason I ended up selling it. The newest kelvin is much quieter especially when layered

I think my Atom is relatively quiet. Quieter than Kifaru LPP, about the same as a Kelvin Active. I wear the Atom as the next layer above an Aerowool base layer and 240 Peleton mid. That will get me into single digits if hiking. I’d add a puffy (LPP) over that for glassing, hanging around camp, etc. if very cold. I’ve worn that system down to zero deg. in the Rockies.
