How do these two jackets compare? Curious about wind blocking/water repellent and noise. I know the Jetstream is the top of the line in this regard, but if anyone has used both and can speak to the similarities/differences, that would be great.

I cant speak for the other but I have bowhunted in a jetstream vest a lot... dont know how many hunts I have used it. It's quite enough, warm for its weight and windproof. Layers over and under excellent as well.

Jetstream is a great jacket. I also us the vest a bunch. I have a Skre rain jacket and for the price it is ok but I don't think the quality is anywhere near that of Sitka.

I love my Kuiu Guide jacket. they run $189. bought mine when they had a 25% off sale. Midwayusa has a really good sale on Firstlite stuff going on. they have the Northbranch softshell jacket on sale for $126. huge discount

I've have owned and used both the Sitka Jetstream vest and the SKRE Hardscrabble vest/jacket. The Jetstream does block the wind slightly better with it's gore liner. The Hardscrabble is more like an improved 90% jacket. It also does well blocking wind but doesn't have a liner. Warmth wise one wasn't noticeably a standout.

Here's the test I did with compressed air and my wind meter to a Hardscrabble Jacket
