Josh,
Thank you so much for the in depth review. I got lucky and found a pair of these brand new without tags. Wore the apex all over idaho and there just really isn’t anything out there that can compare to this pant. The quietness is key and being stealthy is important. Over others the apex was just quieter and didn’t seem to overheat during the day too bad. I also really like the durability of the apex pant. Lasted about 5 years and if I would have worn a lower light weight gaiter around the cuffs of the pant it would have lasted much longer. This is also in northern Idaho so it’s just super brushy and nasty where these animals end up taking you. With the upgrade to be able to vent your pant I think this pant will be my archery pant for years to come. Thanks again for breaking it down for us.

What is the pocket configuration of these pants. The mountain pant pockets are my favorite… hoping these are similar?

Pocket configuration is two hand pockets non zip and two pockets that have a button snap on both sides of the leg. The one thing i’m not a fan of is the fact there is no pockets in the rear of the pant. However, This is still by far my favorite pant after doing 8 days in them on an archery hunt. Real quiet and just super comfortable pants. Gonna be an awesome whitetail pant come november as well with some long johns underneath. Hope this helps thanks!
