Sitka Celsius Midi XL vs XXL

Anyone in the +/- 6'5" 250lbs range that has experience with Sitka Celsius midi?

I'm 6'1" with a 52" chest and the XXL fits me perfect in the Lightweight Hoody and Core Heavyweight Hoody.

Thanks that helps, my chest line is right in the middle between XL and XXL (T) and I'm wondering if the XLT will be too tight. I have a jacket in XXLT which fits pretty good. It it's just a little billowy.

6’3” 250#. 50” shoulders. Almost every Sitka top I have is XXl. Mountain jacket and a core light weight hoody in XLT as I recall. Both work but are slim. Some of their stuff just has a lot of extra room in the XXl sizing.

I have 51” shoulders and Sitka xxl tops fit great. Can’t help with the tall stuff cause I’m only 6’.

6'3 230 and all my core/mid/hvy zip t's are xxl tall. Sleeves are a tad long but over time they'll shrink up a bit. My jetstream is xxl as the tall was like a half size bigger than the xxl. The jetstream is oversize for layering anyway.

You had a stratus jacket before right? What size was that? What could you reasonably wear under it?

I did. As I recall it fit about the same as jet stream, which is to say, it had some room for layers. I have layered base, grid fleece and a puffy under mine (uncomphagre and kelvin light). Biggest constraint I found was the arms particularly forearms. My arms aren’t huge, but I lift a Bit so that may have made the situation worse. given a chance I would probably go puffy vest to reduce the stacking effect on the arm layers.

caveat to the above, both my Jetstream aNd stratus (sold) were more than 3 ears old. No clue what Sitka has done with fit since then.

Any taller guys using the Celsius midi? I picked on up in XXL and it's just a little "billowy" on me. It's not too bad, especially because the sleeves seem to be just long enough. Wondering if switching to the XL will help with that or if the torso and sleeve length will be too short.
