Sitka Blizzard Mitts vs Stone Glacier Altimeter Mitts

Looking for input on what the warmth difference is. The stone glacier ones seem to be “puffier” and I think would be warmer.

I don’t have the Sitka ones and haven’t handled, but would suggest looking at non hunting brands. SG ones are pretty warm but a specific use criteria.

I’d check out Black Diamond mercury mitts for the money. Size up one size as normal.


I’ve got altimeters and the mercurys.

For multi day hunts the removable liner feature is what is going to set either apart from most mitts. Being able to use the mitt shell separate from the liner is a good feature.
