Sitka Ambient Kangaroo Pocket

I have a Sitka ambient pull-over and really want a kangaroo pocket on it. Does anyone have any recommendations for material? Or a pattern? I wish it could be the same as the outer layer but I am guessing that’s not possible. Mine is open country, but as long as the color is similar earth tone I am good with it.

I’d try cutting out a trapezoid and doing a 1/4” double hem around the perimeter. Then just stitch along that seam on the top and bottom (short and long sides) to attach it to the pullover.

Im subscribed, love my ambient hoody minus the pocket situation. Kangaroo pocket is much needed
