Tempted to pull the trigger. I've been a BIG fan of Aerogel-based insulation in conjunction with Gore-Tex ever since I bought a pair of the OR Bitterblaze gloves. This would be primarily for hunting, but also for standing around in cold/wet/windy conditions for extended periods of time (+25 to -25F). I generally use the Arc'Teryx Alpha IS with or without a 3L shell, depending on the terrain and temps.
My main apprehension is durability. I haven't been able to find much info other than it having a 2-layer Gore-Tex outer construction. 2L generally scares me when it comes down to abrasion and ripping (brush / rocks).
How bombproof are these jackets?
