I wish I could blame rokslide. but ive had this sickness for a while now

Well I was happy and content with my gear until I began researching new packs for a trip and I peaked behind the curtain and found this site. Granted it's not the site's fault... I blame all of you. Talking about this and that... who knew they made stoves weighing 2.5 pounds and tents weighing 1.5 . Not I.... and now I have no option but to continue down this expensive, yet not desolate road of DIY / Lightweight gear.

How cool would it be if we could redeem "rokslide bucks" for every purchase made of sponsor gear through this site? I could get a rokslide hoodie (or 10) for my better half and she would be more understanding when I tell her I need to buy more gear. A win, win, win situation. "Honey we need to get the kifaru 24 man tipi so we can get a free hoodie and hat." It just might work. Hmm. I guess it is a sickness.
