Simms fleece mid layer bib

Anybody tried these under chest waders? I've got a mid-september trip in Southeast AK coming up, and I'll be living in chest waders.

Anybody tried these under chest waders? I've got a mid-september trip in Southeast AK coming up, and I'll be living in chest waders.

My buddy swears by his. I don't have any first hand experience with them, but he lives in his during Jan/Feb on the Olympic Peninsula, right underneath some cheapo frogg togg breathables and apparently stays snug as a bug.

If I'm worried about being cold, I wear a pair of puffy base layer pants, they do the trick too.

My buddy had the pants, not bibs and loved them. I alternated between only FL 200wt Aerowool long underwear over Aerowool boxers and those plus Kuiu Kenai pants under my Simms G3 bibs. I was to cold or to hot more often than him, the Simms mid pants seemed to be the ideal layer.

I have them and they are great. I actually wear them during late whitetail archery season as well.

I am 5'9" and the large is short on me so I would size up. Any other questions just let me know!
