Similar to FL catalyst

I have a FL catalyst set that I mostly like. However, the pants are a bit baggy on me and mKe a decent amount of noise rubbing on stuff as I walk. What's a similar pant in any brand that would have a more athletic fit?

I'm wanting soft shell or something dwr coated. It doesn't have to stop wind but just slow it down some. I do want a fleece lined pant for the colder months and side zips would be nice.

Kuiu axis hybrid is worth a look. Good cold weather pants IMO and they are slimmmish fitting.

Axis Hybrid are a bit heavier than the Catalyst. The KUIU Guide pant is a little closer to the catalyst. If you want more pant go Axis Hybrid. If you want something similar go Guide.

Eddie Bauer fleece lined guide pants. Not loud, but not as quiet as the catalyst. More durable though for me and way cheaper.

How is the fit between the two? I will be layering puffy pants over them and would prefer a slimmer fit.
