Silly question: what do you do with your bow at night?

This year will be my first archery hunt out west. I've been on rifle hunts and just brought the gun into the tent. What do you do if there's not enough room for your bow in the tent? I'm concerned about the small chance of a mouse chewing on string, etc. I'm thinking hanging the bow in a tree a few feet off the ground would be the best bet?

I lean it against a tree , hang it on limb or set it on the ground ... Never really thought about it.

hang mine right from a tree next to my Cimmeron. If the weather is really bad I will take it inside with me.

I always have it in the tent with me. 24 hours a day that bow never leaves my sight haha

Mine gets hung outside the tent, usually on one of the side poles, if the weather is good. It also helps letting others know someone is likely in there trying to get some sleep so they won't be to loud if they're just getting back to camp.

Resting on top of my pack inside of the tent (either main tent or vestibule depending on the shelter).

I use a very small single man tent with no room in the vestibule or tent for extra stuff besides me and my clothing etc. I either hang it outside if the weather is ok , or put it between the tent and fly leaning on the side wall if it needs to be protected from the weather.

I rub it slowly, talk sweetly to it, and remind it how awesome it will be to launch an arrow into the pump station, then put it to bed. ;-)

I hang mine.

I have had tent guys lines chewed by mice and this July, while scouting for elk, I had a mouse chew three holes through my Camelback hose after I left the bladder sitting on a log while I slept. I had to shorten the hose so much that it had to live in the top of my pack for the rest of the trip.
