Well, maybe getting $300 for a pile of junk is better than getting $0 and keeping the pile of junk. That seems like a glass is half full approach to use here.
But, I might be willing to pay $300 to blow one up and make SiCo replace it.Well, maybe getting $300 for a pile of junk is better than getting $0 and keeping the pile of junk. That seems like a glass is half full approach to use here.
Same, but sometimes it’s best to rip off the bandaid and move on with life. Of course, I’m just speaking of my own experience and circumstances.Idk man… 300$?.. I personally feel pretty ripped off paying 1k like a year ago on a “lifetime purchase”.
The can is rated for rum with unlimited barrel restrictions. I’d wager that none of them would survive a 16” 300 rum. Therefore, they are all piles of junk.Ahem.. 77.9% of respondents own suppressors that are not yet piles of junk.

Even Capital Armory thinks the Scythes are junk, they offered me $300 in store credit for mine.
For $300, I'd keep it and send it to a life of 223 or 6mm stuff. I say this as mine is still sitting in my closet blown in half. I need to send it back but there's not much motivation.
I like that idea. Swap it for a steel one and let that live on the 223 and bottle all the resentment deep inside. Like a man.The motivation should be that you can exchange it for a different version. I have heard of folks doing that.
Or just sell it at a loss and be completely done with it.I like that idea. Swap it for a steel one and let that live on the 223 and bottle all the resentment deep inside. Like a man.
A different version as in the STM? That's not super appealing to me as I bought this to fill a niche as a lightweight compact hunting can. Definitely a positive if it doesn't explode though. The motivation should be that you can exchange it for a different version. I have heard of folks doing that.
Yeah, I will hold on to it, perhaps sell it to someone local who wants one, or give it to someone who wants one. It will go back on my 223 for now and I'll just hold off on getting a 6-S.I bet they bought so many that they are paying less and less for them. They offered me 475.00 for me but I sold it to a dude instead and got more.
