Capitol armory will buy them for 4-600 dollars, or you can just do a form 4 online and sell it yourself at this point.
My problem with selling mine directly to a buyer was A) my understanding it had to be in state and B) my conscience knowing what will likely happen at some point to a person I know and sold it to.

I went the Capital Armory route, which hasn’t exactly been painless. I’m at least a month and a half into the process with no credit.

Yes I saw that in their email, said it would take 4-6 weeks. For what? The form 4 shouldn’t take too long, a few days in the mail, then once they receive it you should get paid.

What’s taking them so long?

Their responsiveness via email was very good until I accepted their offer. Since then, getting each response has required multiple days and multiple emails repeating the original message.

Unfortunately, their service on the phone has been even less useful. I can’t even get them to look up my transaction information, so I’m stuck with emailing them.

That’s disappointing- I was considering trading my Scythe for credit towards a Reaper.

That sucks, I’m glad I didn’t go that route with mine.

To close this loop, I finally got my credit. It wasn’t fast or painless, but it was best for me and my conscience. It just so happens I bought the scythe from CA, so selling it back to them seems fitting.

1. 6.5 PRC approximately 300 rounds and
7PRC approximately 200 rounds

2.Seekins Element 22" 7prc
Springfield Waypoint 2020 24" 6.5 prc

3 All factory ammo.

4. Mostly 143 grain Norma Bondsrike in 6.5 prc. A mix between 160 gr Norma Bonstrike and 160 grain Barnes LRX in the 7prc.

5. Blew the front of the suppressor 35 yards down range on the 3rd shot of the 4th 3 round group. Cooled the barrel with a fan after each 3 shot group.

I just got a box of Barnes 170 gr TTSX to try and the failure happened on the third round of this ammo.

Mangled the coletac suppressor cover.

Lol. Just when this thread seemed to be slowing down we get a bunch of new failures!

I'm planning to get all my suppressor that are individual or single shot trusts into 1 trust. Except the scythe. Im just leaving it as individual. I won't let anyone else shoot it anyway! If/when it comes apart ill probably try to sell the fixed can.
