sil/pu tent fabric

I've seen a few companies out there offering shelters made with sil/pu fabric - apparently not the typical sil coating on one side with pu on the other sude, but a mixture of sil and pu on each side. I know Seek Outside for example uses this sort of material.

I'm curious about the advantages or disadvantages of this compared to pure silnylon, particularly in regard to hydrolysis. I am also wondering if this stuff can be recoated/restored in the way that silnylon can but polyurethane coated nylon can't.
