I shoot a Mathews Vertix at 70# with a black gold ascent verdict on a 5 pin slide. I currently have blue tape that starts at 60 yards and is every 5 yards down till 100 yards. I used my bottom pin as my pin for the slide. Is this the correct way? I want to put a true sight tape on my bow that came with my sight but they all start at 20 yards on the slide. Maybe the answer is a lot simpler then it seems but I am stuck atm

You can use any pin as your slider. It should not matter that the tapes start at 20 as long as you have the pointer, the bottom pin in your case, for your 60 yard setting pointing at 60 when you apply the tape. Do not move the pointer from 60 until after you have applied your sight tape. If you desire to do so, you can cut off any portion of the tape for those yardages on the tape above which you will never use the pointer (above 60 in your case). The pointer never needs to be right next to the sight pin either, it’s just an easier reference if it is. As long as your sight is SET, and your 60 yard pin is your pointer, you can put 60 way at the top of your sight bar with your pointer also at the top of your sight bar if you prefer. I hope all of that makes sense.

Yeah that makes sense. I was thinking about cutting the tape at 60 like you recommended as well because that seemed a lot easier then figuring out the 20 yard and everything else till 60.
