Sight suggestions for $100

What's going on everybody?

I'm looking to buy a sight for my dad's bow and I'm willing to spend about $100. Probably looking at a 4 or 5 pin. Any suggestions in that price range? I've heard good things about spott Hogg but I'm not sure what model to go with

don't have any experience with spot hogg.... in that range i'd go black gold rush 5 pin.....

I bought a budget sight a while ago for my backup bow ( which is going to stay my primary this year)

What I picked up was a MBG Rush, w/ 4in dovetail and 5 customized pins. It ran me all of 135 for a very nice sight with 3rd axis and the works.

Spott hogg makes the most solid site and I have owned multiple spott hoggs. But for the price MBG just has them beat imo. MBG makes a great budget site, same high quality as their more expensive ones.

I got my Sight from S&S archery, great prices.

Used would also be a good option.

I sold a Spot Hogg Real Deal, wrapped, 5 pin for $95 a few months ago. Check Archery Talk for quality used. I do recommend Spot Hogg.

Youre probably not going to touch a new Spot Hogg at that price. You can however find a used one in good condition around that price. Id suggest looking at the Right On or better yet the Real Deal.

If you are wanting a new untouched sight in that price range look at the Black Gold Rush. Its a basic sight but well built with an outstanding warranty.

Vital Bow Gear Angular Pins fixed sights. I will never go pack to horizontal pins blocking my field of view again. Have 2-3 of them and love love love them

The RUSH is a great budget sight. Sweet way to set it up! But, you can get just the regular RUSH if you are dedicated to keeping it cheap. IF you want to go single pin... This is a screaming deal: http://www.bowhunterssuperstore.com/black-gold-ascent-ambush-sight-black-p-1875779.html
You could then save your bucks and get the 4" Dove tail used if you stay after the classified on the big bow forums....

I just purchased the Ascent with some custom options (3 pin surge head, 4" Dove tail, rear facing sight tape) from Steve at S&S and its a great sight. Got the day off tomorrow and am going to spend the time getting it dialed in....
