If this has been hammered on other threads, please let me know, but those who have tried the Sig Zulu 6 Image Stabilizing Binos, would you recommend the 12 or 16 power binos? I want these for a do all, carry on my chest bino. I mainly hunt the high country of Wyoming, but also find myself sneaking through the trees while getting to the alpine, and I don't want to carry two pairs of binos. Any recommendations? Thanks.

12’s 2nd generation. I carried both 12’s and 16’s this year in hells canyon (big country) and my experience at distance was that the sharpness of the 12’s surpassed the magnification do the 16’s, and at miles out you could actually pick out things better with the 12’s due to this. Edges of the same rocks, trees, and animals popped more with the 12’s despite the image being smaller. They are very close though, so if you get a great deal on one vs the other, pull the trigger. Both are amazing.

12’s first gen. Great battery life and I think they are brighter than the 16’s. GOHUNT has them on sale occasionally.
