I have this rifle back up for sale. This is a Swiss-made Sig SHR 970 bolt action rifle, made during the late 90s/early 2000s in collaboration Sig and Swiss Arms. They were known to be very accurate and they only stopped making them to focus on their Blaser label. Has switch-barrel capability if you can source another 970 barrel. When you can find another rifle, they often go for over $1000. A gunsmith performed a trigger-job for a nice crisp trigger pull. 24" cold hammer-forged barrel has 5/8"x24 threading and comes with brake and thread cap. Coated with Ilaflon (similar to Cerakote). Also comes with 3 sturdy steel magazines and Weaver Grand Slam S25 bases. Synthetic stock is nice and stiff, has a grippy texture and grip is a slightly more vertical then a typical sporter. Has a short bolt lift, similar to a Tikka T3x, Browning X Bolt or Sauer 100 rifle. This rifle was ahead of its time.
