CS with Sig, at least for me, has been top notch.

In terms of cuts for archery it comes into play when you have fairly extreme angles and decent distances. That is around 40 degrees and past 40 or 50 yards. Inside of those extremes there are inaccuracies but those are usually not noticed by typical archers. That 40 degrees is interesting because dirt typically stacks at about 35 degrees which means its uncommon to have hillsides at that 40 degree pitch without rock outcroppings of some sort.

That being said this is a free feature on the Sigs that has worked flawlessly for me in hunting situations.

Yes. It changes your cuts based on your arrow speed. I entered it and it worked well for me. I cant say I have taken any 70 yard 50 degree shots. The biggest difference I have seen between archery mode and their AMR angle comp mode is a couple of yards. It does make a difference on longer shots when your arrows are dropping quite a bit between each yard.

So I did the update today on my Kilo 5K. Put in archery mode, entered by arrow speed.

It is now showing the angle degree on the readout and gives me my yardage. I assume the yardage read out is already compensating for the specific angle? In other words, the angle degree readout is for informational purposes only?
