Just got a new Sig Kilo8k ABS today. I was super excited to go shooting tomorrow and try it out!
However I am struggling with setting this thing up with a ballistic profile. It is telling me that to shoot 541 yards I need to dial down 2.45 MOA... obviously that wont work. Then I realize that in the upper left corner of the reticle it says 47.2 AMR which is "Angle Modified Range"... It would make sense that if I were shooting 47 yards I would need to dial down 2.45 MOA. So basically it thinks I am shooting straight up or straight down 541 yards.
Of course Sig Customer service closed before I figured all this out and will not open again until Monday.
I have read the manual 3x, watched you tube videos, deleted everything and started over.
It's either a simple setting that I am too dumb to figure out or a defective unit.
