Has anyone else heard that Sig is coming out with a kilo 2500 rangefinder? I was in my local sporting goods store a few weeks back looking at the Kilo 2000 and the guy working said they were about to be discontinued because Sig was rolling out a 2500 variant. Then I was in Cabelas this weekend purchasing the Kilo2000, and when I asked the guy there if he heard anything about the 2500 he did say some customers had the same question. I almost held off but the Kilo2000 was down from $500 dollars to $350 dollars as part of a black Friday deal and I couldn't hold off. Also I imagine if a 2500 does come out that it will be atleast $500 for a while and that's more than I wanted to spend. Anyone out there with some intel?

I've heard a similar rumor, except that it was supposed to be the Sig Kilo 2400. Have also heard rumors of one with the Applied Ballistics application built into it and Bluetooth to connect it to your phone or tablet.

Awesome, thanks for sharing that link David. I'm very happy I bought the kilo2000 for $350 bucks now. I'm not into long range shooting yet but still need to know the known distance for archery and rifle shots as well as distances to areas I want to plug into my GPS. The Sig seems awesome so far so hopefully it holds up.

Kestrels are between 400-600.00 and do wind.

I hadn't heard that the kilo 2k was being discontinued, just the new model with applied ballistics that is way more expensive coming out.

Robby and I are currently working to get our hands on one for testing. Hopefully we can get one in the field soon and start reporting on the features.
