Sig just released there new rifle the "cross". Light weight bolt action folding chassis rig. I believe Cory on elk101 had a prototype on a few of their episodes. Ive been considering getting a form of a chassis style rifle as I don't currently have one. Longer range gun with hunting at times but...

Just got one. It seems great. I haven't shot it much yet, but I'm happy to answer any questions about it. I have a Sig Tango 4 4-12 on it, with a Magpul mlok bipod.

There is a long thread on Snipers Hide about them. Seems like really good feedback so far. When I find one in 6.5 it will come home with me!

I'm waiting until they develop a Cross XL to chamber longer cartridges like the 6.5 PRC and 300 PRC. Second, I'm hoping the aftermarket barrel industry, like Proof, will develop barrels for the Cross.

I would love to know what loads it like and how you have the optics height setup.

Too bad about the recall - I really liked the idea of this rifle. I heard they had plans to release one even lighter with a carbon fiber barrel or something.
