I am looking to rebarrel a Sig Cross and wondering if anyone knows what barrel profile would be good to go in a Bartelin barrel?

18-20" finished length a 3 (it's a #4 for everyone else) and 16" finished length a 2b (it's a #3 for everyone else). These profiles are more to get you the shoulder for a 5/8-24 thread you need.

I've done two...one was a 16" sendero Proof barrel. I didn't use the nut on the two I've done and actually made the barrel shoulder up to the action extension. The 1.20 shank makes one less cut you have to make over the 1.25's but both will fit under the handguard. You won't be able to use the closest m-loc for an arca rail though, not enough room for the screws.

Good luck, they are great platforms to rebarrel...both have shot really well.

I bought a #3 I believe from PVA in 22 creed. It was pretty close to oem.
The next barrel going on is the thinnest Preferred barrels had. This should be a lot lighter.

I'd recommend sending the gun in to someone to have the barrel swapped. It's a huge pain.

I had my buddy change mine. Guy is a high level PRS shooter and can swap barrels with his eyes closed. But the Cross kicked his butt. Barrel came loose even. Second attempt is still holding.
