That is their tag line based on retail pricing. However, they usually only do promo codes of like 30-35%. The 45% was on select items but still worth a look. The trekking poles I picked up were a steal. I have the same set I had my buddy pick up from Cabela's with his tenured employee discount which is huge since he has been there 10+ years. This deal was even cheaper than that.

I usually don't feel like sifting through their 20k items that they list "on sale" every day to see if they have anything I want. Tried that a couple times and just not for me. Kind of like camping out in front of Best Buy for a week before Thanksgiving to save 50%. I'll pay full price before doing that.

If they sent out an email once a month or some thing with an actual "sale" I'd probably take a look. But every stinking day "save 45-75%" gets a little old when you can't find anything on their site.

I hear you there. However, if you follow the link from the email, it takes you to a filtered inventory that you can search that has everything included in the sale. At least doing it that way you know that everything you are looking at is in the sale.

While I get tired of the constant "85% off a certain number of items" there are some very good codes that DO come out occasionally and have saved me a pile of money on some items.

I bought a pair of Lowa Mountain Hunter Extreme GTX for $225 CAD which I figured was about the best deal I have ever seen.

A 45% off code got me my Primus eta express stove for $47 and my Hanwag Yukons for $154. I've got some other crazy good deals on things I need too. Most of the non goretex boots qualify and the goretex ones are always included in 35% off and 99 cent shipping on a minimum order of $75. I'm sending some Lowas back that I got at 35% and .99 cent shipping tomorrow. There are some screaming deals to be had.
