Lol you obviously just did the same thing with the 107s since they just were released before the 116s. So I assume you had something that "worked" before those but you changed....

Yeah sure, next time out I’ll bring some.
I’m thinking it tops out at or before 41.5 & 44.5

And the 243 is 1:8 instead of the 1:7.5 of my 6CM so that’s something too.

Not really just got this 243, when the 107s were released. I built a load with the 108 Eldm and the 107 tmk at the same time roughly.

Yeah it’s definitely fun! I don’t fault anyone for tinkering, if I had a 6 prc or 6 um the 116 tmk would be a no brainer for me. I’m sure it will also do well in the 6 creed/243.

Eh, the 243/6CM is like the dividing line with the 107/116. Can go either way depending on velocity. But the 116 will likely do better with quick drops, I’d bet at around 2625fps you have the same correction factor across the widest distance at the the widest range of different atmospherics. If you’re doing that, why not take the deeper penetration and edge in BC?

But if you’re like me and most of your 6mm cartridges are below that, maybe go the other way.

Yea I usually shoot the 108 Berger EH but gonna test these 116 out

Ordered some 116 gr tmks and a 7.5 twist 6mm barrel to be chambered in 6cm. Trying to gather some data here on length to cut it at if I want to be comfortable on velocity to 650 yards. Expansion velocity similar on these to eldms at 1800?

My calculation is showing my DA at about 1200 feet right now. My 107’s out of a 16” 6CM hit 1800 at 730 yards.

I haven’t received 116’s yet to know their velocity out of my barrel. I’m think 107’s will end up with greater range due to starting at a higher velocity.

What's your MV and load (if you're willing to share) with the 107's? I'm at a similar DA and also debating 16" vs 18".

When I ordered the email said it was awaiting payment at first then the payment came out the day after but no email about shipping confirmation.

My confirmation said the same, other than no email at all. Wondering if shipment date had anything to do with 500 count vs 100. I ordered 500 on the 15th, but on the 2nd go when they came back into stock a few moments after they went out of stock the first time briefly.

So is 1800 still the upset velocity we’re shooting for? I’m pretty set on 18-20” range, seems like I have nothing to worry about at that length

107s from a 22in 6arc, 29.5gr AA2520 runs 2720mv. 5 shot groups sub moa. Same load with 107smk is running 2690mv, and also shoots very well. This is a bolt gun, throated out 0.040 longer than saami spec.

Have a few 6cm rifles I'll be testing the 107s and 116s in.

Just received the 153s as well, they have a very long bearing surface, 50k longer than a 156 berger. They will build pressure quickly.
