Sierra Heavy TMK 6MM Testing

The s2h podcast recently mentioned their cost on primers vs what midway was charging. I forget the spread but Midway really sticks it to you.

That was peak panic pricing though. I think that episode was recorded in like 2022 or something.

Larry has CCI 200's for $59/1000 right this minute where UM has them for $87.

Hazmat shipping and ethics and support Jake and all that, but that podcast has some old data that is no longer true or accurate.

how the tides have turned. Midway is not my favorite, but in this anti 2A world we live in. They support us and im happy to buy from them occasionally.

Form,
I read one of your previous post as the 103 eld x delivering most of its damage on the entrance. I interpreted this as meaning that the 103 disrupting quicker and more violently. Specifically in regards to small varmints (prairrie dogs) at long range up coyotes, which bullet do feel would give the most consist terminal performance.

My experience with the 95 tmk was mostly positive with a few cases little to no expansion on rockchucks. 108s were disappointing but 105 amaxs were good. 147 elds ranged from amazing (first lot ever produced) to unreliable in later lots. Factory cut DTACs pencilled. Unfortunately I moved midwest so now I have to drive all day to get prairrie dogs so trying to pick a bullet that wont be a disappointment on the next trip.

I have no idea. None of them are prairie dog bullets. I would probably try an 80gr ELD-VT.
