Sierra Heavy TMK 6MM Testing

A 1.2 MOA 10 shot group, would translate to about a 0.9 MOA 5 shot group and a 0.75 3 shot group. With no load development in a 8-9# rifle I’m not sure what more you could hope for. You could shoot one shot groups and be happy maybe.
These are Matchkings and will see far more use on paper and steel, than flesh.
Hunters really use only a tiny percentage of bullets sold.

If what transpired today with Sierra is real- it’s going to get very cool in the next year or two.

Long story short- the new leadership knows Rokslide, and desires greatly to fill the real demand for what is needed specifically here.
What performance is being sought after that the new tmk doesn’t provide? Genuinely curious

A regular supply instead of the sporadic crap would be great.

As far as full and open testing, are we talking about terminal performance or something else? Wouldn't getting too specific about terminal effectiveness be a problem for LE and military sales?

Totally agreed on availability.

Hornady posts ballistic gel photos for ELDM projectiles on their law enforcement page, so I don't think it's an issue as long as the OEM states they are not intended to be used for hunting.

So what you are saying is a new modernized version of a partition but with high BC and a tip might be something on the table in the future?
