Hello, tried out some new broadheads today out to 80 yards and had great groupings with both. minor rest adjustment was all that was needed. So provided I do my part does anyone have experience with either of these heads on elk or other game. 403gr arrow 285fps.

The Born and Raised Outdoors crew has used them with success. Shuttle t's
Ive shot the shuttle t's for testing flight and was happy with them.

Shuttle T guy myself. I'm sure the Magnus are great broadheads too. I've just had good luck with shuttle t's and don't think I'll switch for quite a while.

I have a couple friends who have had great success with shuttle T's on elk and whitetail. Me personally I prefer Slick Tricks but thinking long and hard about switching to Shuttle T's.

Magnus has a lifetime warranty which makes them more affordable. You can also sharpen the main blade rather easily. Much harder to do with the shuttle ts. The shuttle ts are great but once you shoot them thru bone or hit a rock the ferrule bends and they are toast. Both heads kill.

I did a little test before last season with the Shuttle T, Terminal T, and Black Hornet. All 3 shot great out of my bow with very little additional tuning needed. Ultimately the Black Hornet edged out the ither 2 so that is what I picked, but I would have been very happy with either of the Trophy Takers.

Thanks for the input everyone! Waiting on some arrows to come in and make my final choice!

I use the Magnus Black Hornet serrated. I hit a cow at 8 yards, broke ribs, even though the cut was between them. She was in the process of jumping down hill so the arrow traveled from the broadside shot into her spine. I had to cut the broad head out of the inner spine. It had a minor bend in it. Sent a pic to Magnus and I had new heads in the mailbox two days later. They fly great and cut really good.

Hit a mule deer buck at 50 yards and had a complete pass through. Huge exit with a 4" tear in the backside chest. Didn't take more than a huge jump in the air and he dropped.
