So I just put 6 new Shuttles on my arrows for my upcoming elk hunt. Pretty much every head has a blade or two with a noticeable wiggle once tightened. Is that common? Seems like it shouldn't be.

I had the same problem with some Terminal Ts, I emailed trophy taker and they sent me new washers and it fixed it.
Yes sir. There's two washers on each.
Two washers? Is that something new? I've never tried the Black Ops, but the originals only have one washer and I've never had a loose blade. If anything I have to use pliers to put them in and get them out. I only use the 125's.
One washer is brass, one is steel.
What the heck is the brass one for? Normally I've seen brass washers used to add enough weight to get heads to 125gr, or to fill space so the ferrules fit in the inserts properly (such as the G5 Strikers in 125gr). But I've never seen them on any Shuttle T's, even the Black Ops I've looked at in the stores. You have to watch that brass washer and make sure it's not up against the blades as it's a softer material that the blades will dig a groove into.
When the Strikers first came out they only came with that large brass washer and once the blades dinged it up, the blades wouldn't fit tight and would wobble and not spin true. So I took a steel washer from some old Slick Tricks and used that against the blades and the brass one between that and the shaft/insert. That worked, but was opposite of what G5 recommended. I still shoot them this way without any dinging going on with the washer, so the blades stay tight. G5 said it was to protect the blades and give a little on hard hits. I told them to make stronger blades if they're worried about that.
I just purchased another 3 ST 100's yesterday and opened em up this morning, blades are nice and tight. Brass washer is next to the blades.
