Me and a buddy were goofing off down at a creek on his grandparent's farm when we were teenagers. He had a single shot 12 gauge with a 3 inch chamber. We were plinking away with 2 3/4" shells and he snuck a 3 inch shell in there on my turn... OH the a$$ chewing he got!! I had a bruise for days!! Funny as hell tho!!

I shot literally thousands of 3.5” 12ga rounds hunting waterfowl and turkeys and patterning different ammo and chokes. A muzzle braked 300 Norma is NOTHING compared to a 3.5” turkey round out of a pump shotgun hahaha. That shit will put you on your ass

I shot a case of 3.5” Hevi Metal in one morning shoot. Just for perspective. A 7mm isn’t shit lol

I remember being 10 years old duck hunting tule lake and wanting to shoot a 3” 12 gauge so bad. Finally my dad said have fun. I was on the front of the Jon boat and shot at some ducks almost straight up. Next thing I knew I was laying in my back in the hole between the front of the boat and the middle seat with my feet and gun both pointed straight up. My dad gave me a bunch of praise for keeping the gun pointed in a safe direction. Funny the random events that stick decades later.
