The year I got my blondie, a bud trapped a red one a week later about 17 miles upriver. Same color as a sorrel horse.

Here's a few photos of what I believe is a piebald cow elk... not albino as the face is dark still. Saw her this April driving up for a bear hunt.

I wish I would have took a picture. Driving by the Kansas Dept of Wildlife and Parks headquarters there was a red coon hit on the road. I wanted to pick it up so bad but didn’t want to get caught with it. A week or so later there was another one about in the same spot hit. They were a burnt orange ccolor.
