Saw a tikka build thread that was really damn neat! Thought it would be cool to see what savage builds members had. Quite the savage nut myself and just finished another build.

260 rem / rifle basix / Boyd’s feather thumbhole(refinished) / 19” mcgowen magnum savage contour barrel.
Going to put a 4.5-14 Burris mtac Scope on it.

Awesome rifle ! Did Stockade make that stock to take the cdi AICS bottom ? Or did you have to fit it yourself or take to a gunsmith ?

Here’s mine. Savage varmint DBM action, Criterion light varmint 24” barrel, KRG 180-Alpha chassis, Nightforce SHV 4-14 F1 (wore a 3-15 SWFA for a while). Put it together in my living room and it shoots Hornady American Gunner 140s really well.

Thanks. Jeff (RIP) at CDI did the inletting when I purchased the bottom metal. I did have to add some filler and re-contour a little around the bottom metal before I added the paint job. I think the Stockade stocks (I have 2) are very well made, and they can be had in basically any of the action lengths and types of the Savage 110 family. Left-hand inlets are necessary for me so that factored into my purchases as well. At the time I bought them, support from the big name stock builders for LH Savages was basically non-existent.
