Anyone have pictures of nice wood on guns? I love the look and feel of wood, though for practical reasons do not own much.

I have always felt that the Hogue rubber grips that came with my Smith and Wesson Mountain Gun were a bit soulless. However years ago when I looked for wood all I could fined were rounded, so I stuck with the Hogue. I came across Altamont and noticed they had a round frame to square conversion grip, so I ordered one in Santos Rosewood.

Resurrecting this. I'm sure Rokslide has many people like me who for practical reasons do not have many wood stocked guns. But, there have to be some out there.

I have Turkish walnut grips on my Smith and Wesson 27-8 from John Culina. Almost too pretty to use.

@Deere_Man Not really that show the wood. It’s really due for a refinish, I use my wood guns. This blank was practically free, I got it as part of a “must take all” deal along with several others. It was too short for me to use on a double shotgun, had a check in it and I wasnt sure what to do with it, so it replaced the “genuine wood” on my turkey gun.
