Same deal here. Had the original tag that had the price tag on it, which I kept for the warranty information. They took that information and refunded me a credit for exactly what I paid for it 10 years ago.

Thanks for the tip on keeping the price tag. I usually just make digital scans of my receipts unless they’re online purchases. I’ll do that just in case.
