Should I wait to buy a house?

I've always been told buy as soon as you can

If I wasn’t getting a family deal on the house we are buying, there is no way I would buy a house right now.

I sold my current home for $250k more than what I paid for it in 2011. I had a total of 16 offers in 4 days.

No way in hell I would pay the price for my house that the buyers paid. But if they want it they can have it.
