It came out last year but is finally shipping, the GAP Jager light short and partially over the barrel. Quiet enough for a couple shots hunting.

That would be the TBAC Ultra 5. Still the unthroned champion of short, light, and rugged shooting/hunting suppression.

The Jager doesn’t hold candle to the Ultra in Db suppression, nor can it handle the same short barrel lengths, should you choose - like many - to carry a shorty 6.5 or 308.

That said, some guys are in love with anything stamped GAP, so it will likely sell well, despite its short comings.

Don’t forget that it won’t fit over a proof barrel so you’d have to use steel options. Thunder beast came out with a new suppressor that’s shorter and more quiet than the 7 ultra but a touch heavier.

Given the barrel length and barrel diameter restrictions on the GAP one, I can't say I'm impressed.

Thunderbeast Dominus CB. A little over 6" but larger in diameter than the 7" and meters quieter as well. Also only 9.6 ounces. Ordered one myself.
