Awesome! How was your arrow penetration?

Shot was 64 yards pretty steep downhill. Entered high and centered a rib. Exited center body 1.5 inches behind the shoulder and cut another rib. Arrow was stuck about 5-6'inches in the ground when I found it.

The red dot is the entrance hole and the green is where it exit on the other side.

Hey Jtelarkin,
Resurrecting this thread. Sikanni River has made my short list for a 2018 goat hunt. I saw on another thread you were also after goat. Did you see any or have any experience on goat with them that you would or would not recommend Sikanni?
Great moose by the way. Makes me want to do the combo hunt.
Thanks.
Ben

Hey Ben
Sikanni Has TONS of goats. My buddy Todd is one of the main goat guides and he is a beast. He is from NewZealand and has hunted tahr and chamois his whole life. The terrain is pretty steep and rough so be in shape. I suggest go pretty early so you dont have to deal with alot of snow. Those mountains are super rough with snow.

Accommodations are top notch. I highly suggest getting a moose and elk tag to go along with your goat tag. They have a good number of both elk and moose and it is cheap to add it to your hunt if you kill one. If you have any other questions pm me.
