Shortening Kifaru Duplex Height

I’m looking to turn an extra 26” duplex lite frame into a 24” frame. Is there a way to cut the stays and frame sheet to achieve this?

I don't see how this could be done easily/without heavy modification.

Would probably be easier to find someone to trade your 26 with a 24.
