Short torso hunting packs?

Do any of the major hunting pack manufacturers make a pack for a shot torso? I had a Kifaru Late Season, great pack but never real fit me well, always slid down off my hips. I know the recreational backpacking companies do. Would I be better served purchasing a non-hunting backpack or is there an short torso alternative available from the hunting backpack group?

My son has a short torso and we found a Seek Outside Lanner works very well for him.
