Short Range Brush Gun

I appreciate all the input. I probably should have included a budget. I probably need to stay around $500 or less. I know the rule is to spend more on optics than the rifle, but I'm having a hard time justifying that for 75 yards. I've got a 336 in .35 Rem that I might put something nicer on. I think the range and recoil justifies it.
One of Leupold 2.5x shotgun scopes would be ideal, as FLS said above. Eye relief is great - over 5”. Used these can be picked up for $300ish in new condition.

I have a 1x Sightron muzzleloader/shotgun scope and it’s fantastic - if you can see it with the naked eye, you can hit it with this scope in all light conditions. Eye relief is way out there, like 5”. Used, I paid less than $100 for one in new condition.

Burris made a 2-1/2x not too long ago that I’ve seen for $200 used.

Used old 2-1/2x Weavers are $75, and Redfield would be $150ish.

For the most part googling shotgun scopes will show a wide variety.

The used market for fixed 4x scopes is even better.

I used a 1-4 accupoint for years on my brush gun but as I got older, I realized I was giving up a lot of low light performance. I picked up a used Meopta 6X42 and man what a difference. it's small, lightweight and crazy good in these dark bottoms I hunt.
