WTB shooting tripod

My son is 12 this year and a friend I’ve had several friends say tripods with are the best bet for kids for shooting. So I need to buy one and of course waited till now to start looking. Please let me know what you have. Thanks

This is what I bought for that same purpose for my daughter. Much more affordable, lighter and more solid than buying separate tripod legs and a ball head. Not selling mine but you can purchase one new for $230-250.

Thought I would throw out a quick review of the shooting tripod I used this year for front country day hunts. Started looking for something for my daughter to use on her antelope hunt. Wanted something stiff & relatively lightweight that would accommodate sitting & kneeling shots. Also not being sure it was something I would use long term I did not want o spend a lot of money on the set-up.
